From the time I can remember learning to read, I've always loved reading quotes from interesting people.  I would spend time reading and picking out just the right one, posting it on my fridge for my family to see all week, and then change it out the next week.  It is still something I enjoy, reading these short phrases that sometimes are profound and often are just the spark, the comfort, the healing balm I need at that moment.

My son, in Atlanta, sent me an email a while back and referred me to your website.  He found what you had to say to be very interesting and thought I would too, hence I signed up to receive your Good Dog posts.  I had JUST received the story in an email from another friend in Florida just a few days before I read your post, and so was connected right away.

I have saved many of the quotes for future talks and lessons I might give and have forwarded many to friends and family, as well as posting some on my Face-book page as well.

I really appreciate you taking the time to do this...it has been a sweet addition to my life...hope you keep it up.  Your personal story is one of extreme courage and an example to us all ... never give up!
