"Like so many people,
my life is full, overflowing some days,

with input, output, stress, unexpected challenges, and joys beyond measure.
What I find amazing about the Good Dog, and Louie it’s creator, is that the quotes and musings, without a doubt, always seem to relate to what is going on, in some way, in my own life.

"Inevitably I feel less alone, which reduces my suffering or grief or plain ole’ irritation about what is happening in my life on that particular day."

The idea that this thing called life is a shared experience, shared instantaneously with people across the globe, is incredibly uplifting and most often restores a sense of hope in me.  And for me, hope is what is needed to get through the tough times.

I am so grateful for that Dog that comes into my life each day.  It helps ground me, helps me feel feelings, and often serves as the pin that pops my balloon of arrogance, isolation, and hopelessness that can follow me around some days.

Thank you, Louie, for helping me identify and feed the Good Dog in me.
