Good Dog Feedings
are like a parent holding
me up on my bicycle
as I learn to ride.

Searching for support for her husband suffering with Bi-Polar disorder, Michel found The Dog and
"...got a little boost, a little support, and difficult or not - encouragement to keep on keepin’ on!”

I found the Good Dog while trying to find support for my Bi-Polar husband who suffers from Bi-Polar disorder. He wasn't interested, but I sure was! The story of the two fighting dogs made so much sense to me.

"I kept pushing them (Good Dog’s)
on my husband, hoping that he would choose
to feed his own ‘Good Dog,’ yet I was constantly
disappointed when he would reject it.

One day, I stopped sharing
the feedings with him and I applied them
to me.  Like signs from God, healing for my
wounded soul, food for my starved dog,
I pondered every word
in every feeding..."

There were many a day that my ‘Bad Dog’ told me to delete the email before I even read it. And sometimes I didn't! But the ‘Good Dog’ in me was just strong enough in me, to open it. And on other days, I would go back to those unread messages and find that the words, sentiment, idea, philosophy or theory were, ironically, applicable to my soul, my life and my heart.

One of my favorite
(Dogs) which is duplicated many ways, is that the right thing and the hard thing are usually the same thing. And, that the worst action you can take is IN-ACTION.

The Daily Good Dog Feedings are like a parent or adult holding me up on my bicycle as I learn to ride, or that push from behind on the top of a sled hill … they are there for a little boost, a little support and difficult or not, encouragement to keep on keepin’ on!

Sincerely,

Michel R.
