Losing
Your Marbles
Inspires Life

Claire, a loving daughter,
helps her mum with depression
by reading her the Daily Dog
every morning before she
goes off to work.
"The first thing I do when I wake up is to turn on my computer and read your Good Dogs. I cant wait to check my mail in the morning, before I go to work. It may sound silly but they give me good reason to go to work, the fact that life is what you make it, and we only have one shot at it. I may not like my job but I love my life in between, and you have helped with that.
I've kept every one you have sent since the 24th of November 2007. When I feel a little low, I go through my saved Dogs and like magic, I feel happy.
Your good dogs not only help me but also my mum, who has suffered from depression all of her life. She has me print them out and take them to her every day.
We read them together and laugh and say ...
"life's not that bad after all.
Lets do something exciting today, lets live!"
Even she is starting to think differently, especially since I told her the story about the man with the marbles, (See Sample Page - 'Marbles' to read that particular dog), who took one away every Saturday to remind himself how precious life is. This story helped us to see that if you could see your life in a jar of marbles that slowly disappeared, one day at a time, then I believe that this world would be a happier place to live and it really is, thanks to you, Louie.
You bring a lot of love to a lot of people. You don't find many men do what you do, and send quotes of inspiration to total strangers. Thanks Louie.
