The Day
The Dog was Born

My sweet girlfriend, Sandy,
tells the story of
the day
when I first heard
the story
that changed my life,
the day
the Dog was born.
"I was present when the Native American man told his story of Good Dog vs. Bad Dog. I looked over at Louie and immediately saw the profound effect it had on him. Something “clicked.” It was almost as though his presence that day was a gift just for Louie (we had never seen this man before and haven’t seen him since). You might say, Good Dog was born at that very moment in December, 2006.
"Every Daily Good Dog comes from Louie’s heart. This is a man who wears his emotions on his sleeve for all to see – which makes each Dog so beautiful! Louie shares his Joys and Sorrows. Hopes and Fears. Trials and Tribulations. Determination and Perseverance."
Each Good Dog Feeding is painstakingly created from a place of love and a pure desire to help make our world a better place. Messages passed along from people, places and events shaping his daily life.
How has The Dog changed my life (you ask)? Just six months ago I was a complete mess. Stuck in a profession I could no longer bear - feeling trapped, helpless, hopeless and terribly depressed. Today I have made a complete overhaul of my life by following my passions of writing and photography - living life on my terms. And though it’s not always an easy road, Louie and his daily affirmations help keep me centered and motivated. They remind me the road less travelled may not be the easiest way, but for me – for a healthy mind, body and spirit - it’s the only way."
